The Port of Drammen takes a significant step forward in reducing emissions by transitioning from traditional diesel to HVO100 on the harbor cranes. HVO100, is a bio-based fuel that reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional diesel.
Car imports to Drammen are increasing again: 116,500 cars were imported in 2024
After a decline in 2023, the Port of Drammen has increased activity in car imports. Over 116,500 cars were imported to the quays in Drammen in 2024, an increase of 10 percent compared to the previous year.
