Where can I find information about applications for wharf facilities, buoys or boat berths?

All applications must be approved under the Ports and Waters Act in addition to applications under the Planning and Building Act. The Port of Drammen processes all applications for measures in Drammen and Lier municipalities’ sea area.

Where can I find information about tides?

Tidal variations are insignificant in the Drammensfjord. See the Mapping Authority for more information.

Where are the cars from?

The cars arriving the port are from all over the world. For instance, Japan, South-Korea, China, USA and other car factories in Europe.

Why is there a bilge out on the water?

In connection with filling in areas, we receive stone masses from tunnel work in Strømsåsen. High demands are placed on the quality and content of this stone mass, but as an additional measure we have installed a bilge to prevent rubbish from flowing into the fjord.
