Where can I find information about applications for wharf facilities, buoys or boat berths?

All applications must be approved under the Ports and Waters Act in addition to applications under the Planning and Building Act. The Port of Drammen processes all applications for measures in Drammen and Lier municipalities’ sea areas.

Tidal variations are insignificant in the Drammensfjord. See the Mapping Authority for more information.

Where are the cars from?

The cars imported to the port are from all over the world. For instance, Japan, South-Korea, China, USA, Germany and other car factories in Europe.

Why is there a bilge out on the water?

In connection with the expansion of our port areas, we receive stone masses from tunnel work. Strict requiremnets are set for the quality and composition of this material, but as an additional measure we have installed a bilge to prevent waste from flowing into the fjord.
